Likin’ Bikin’ News

This past weekend, we met up with the Wilcox family (aka The Wilcox Circus aka Le Cirque) to hang out and hit up the 2009 Santa Barbara Bike Fest. This yearly June event is somewhat small in attendance, yet big on events, support, enthusiasm, and hey, Likin’ Bikin’ was there!  

Now, since the SB courses are  ne’er too technical, I figured I’d bring only HT SingleSpeeds for racing SuperD and Dual Slalom (neither of which, by the way, have classes for such one-gear’d-contraptions). And of course, the vehicles of choice here are those of the Misfit sort.    

With that! 1st, 10th, 3rd, & DQ’d! These were the results posted by Team Likin’ Bikin’

Though our talent scouts are currently out looking for more, the pioneers of this soon to be famous squad are:

1st Place - Jana “The DH Ripper” Wilcox

10th Place – Dan “the ONLY SingleSpeed in Super-D” Mutz

3rd Place DS – Marshall “The Educator” Wilcox

DQ’d! in the DS – Dan “Can’t stay in his own lane” Mutz (with multiple  middle-names, apparently)

THANKS to Jana and Marshall for letting us crash at their place, Hoss for the riding gear, Misfit Psycles for the psycles, and as always, the little L’B’ that could for the feeble yet successful attempt at funding another groovy adventure.
