It’s Tuesday and now that we’re back, with all mustaches hacked away, we wonder where the weekend went. A 4-day blur of riding, laughing, eating, riding, imitating, beer’ing, and vacationing. Good thing so many picturess were taken.
We drove up on Friday. 12 (relatively) quick hours through NH, VT, NY, and we were into Ontario. Stops included Burlington (where we were treated to an “Uncle Rico” sighting), various roadside one-stop-shops and plenty of “Timmy’s“.
By early Friday evening we were at Peter’s (Mr. Misfit). Now, Peter is quite the host. After showing us to our rooms, he just quickly Martha’d up a 4 course dinner, which we enjoyed while watching Fubar 2 (to study up on the local ways)
Saturday morning arrived early… like 9. Big breakfast (again ala cuisinier Peter) which we ate this time while watching a creepy Canadian black squirrel run around outside. Wildlife, eh.
Off to day1 at Joyride. Big thanks to Joyride and Mark for the rental bikes and special 2-day passes!
We rode, hung out in Peter’s office, ate, and rode some more, for aboot 6hrs. Jump lines, skinnies, foam pit, “xc” loop, pump tracks with various levels of each, it was even bigger than before <– I meant to link to our last trip here, but realize I didn’t blog about the last trip.
Here are some pics from both days:

(lots more photos from the weekend HERE and even more HERE, eh)
After riding, we were barely able to do anything. So we all either ate, drank, movied, house-party’d, or all of the above’d.
On Sunday, we decided to add a little tourism to the trip by visiting Toronto and the CN Tower.
Look at those Brady’s:

…then more riding.
An awesome weekend, of course. Wish we could get up there so much more.
Thanks again to Peter for taking care of us, Misfit Psycles for the base of operations, Mark Summers for the bike park hospitality, and The Kyle for the tireless driving (his truck had tires… I mean he didn’t get tired… ah nevermind).
