We’ve just returned from some amazing times in Durango and Kernville. What were we up to? Here’s a hint.

In the meantime, I ran across this article yesterday.

Hurray!!! After the billionaires celebrated the fed’s salvation by rock-staring a $400K SoCal weekend, lookie-lookie –> now bicycle commuters are getting their $240/year piece of the $700 billion pie!! Can I get a collective “yee-haw!”

Ok, ok… sarcasm aside, it’s nice to see the simple bike recognized as a viable transportation option, and ANY positive involvement by the gov at the individual commuter level is good stuff.

So I got to thinking… (as I was riding in this morning) why not whip-up a simple page at L’B’ with info and tips on commuting by bicycle? It’s just a start, but maybe you’ll find a new route here, or some ideas about how to go from bike to desk without sweating all over your keyboard there.

Got any commuter do’s/don’ts/stories/routes/suggestions…or even pics of what you ride? How bout sending ‘em to commuters@likinbikin.com We’ll get a database together of tips and whatnot about gettin’ where you’re goin’ by bike. Sound good?
