Happy b-day America. Now, bring on the pyromania!
Actually, today we ride.
Then, as the Tivo is currently filling itself with George, Levi, Christian, and that other guy… as well as those Williams ladies, the afternoon “ride” will take place on the couch, watching American athletes frustrate some EU locals. What better way to celebrate?
Have a safe one.

Last weekend, the Amgen Tour of California rolled through and finished in near-by Pasadena. So, after a little morning ride, Bri and I headed over to see some of the racers we’d been following all week on Versus.
Despite my skepticism about getting near the 5 circuit (roadie speak for “lap”) zone due to the tens of thousands expected this year, we hopped off the freeway and parked with absolutely no traffic or typical CA crowdedness. Weird… we must be miles from the course then, I thought.
Nope, we walked two blocks found the “circuit” (doing air-quotes here) just in time to try to convince our favorite rider to join the forces of Likin’ Bikin’ and MisfitPsycles! (I really did yell that at Mr. Hincapie as he went by) He must still be considering said sponsorship offer, because he hasn’t called yet.
Anyhow, a few minutes after the race leaders (George’s group) went by, a doppler like noise wave, of the cheering fans and helicopter type, began to approach. Surely all of this commotion was for the great Landis! Well I’m told it was probably due to some guy named Lance? But I don’t know anything about that.
So went our day. We had a great time! Perfect weather, no crowds, George out in (near) front, bicycles everywhere, and spending it all with just the Mrs. Happy day!
Some video was to go here, but is it just mine? Or does Microsoft’s ‘Movie Maker’ crash alot for everybody else too?
Next update is a biggie! Hint: This Thursday, boxes are due to arrive from MisfitPsycles (the Empire del norte!)

Well boys and girls, if you ride in the backwoods of Orange County long enough, you might just see this too.
No, I’m not talking about these losers….

…I’m talking much bigger!
I’m talking about the elusive North American “Keithonbike”. Legend has it, this Keithonbike roams the wild areas in and around the Pacific Southwest, but strangely, nobody has any proof…. until today my friends!

Hoax?
Additional photos and DNA samples will be distributed to official media only, during a press conference being held at the Yogurtland Hotel. Likin’ Bikin’ will be there and will be posting the “additional photos” on the featured rider spot at: Likin’ Bikin’ – Culture
Stay tuned….
