They say charity stops being charity the moment you tell someone about it… So I’ll put it on the Blog! And in true Oprah fashion, let the world know how we just love to give!
Yeah right! We work on trails so we can ride trails. No altruists here! Awareness gets more riders opening more trails. It also gets more anti-MTB eyes seeing a group giving a &%@#.
So thanks to all the boys and girls out there helping to keep this place bike-able. And if you get a local chance, consider joining up with a group like SHAREmtb.org and have some good times, fix-up some trails, go on lots of rides… Then let a ranger, city/county official, journalist, equestrian, hiker, Sierra Clubber, or anyone else know about it. Viva Objectivism!!!
This sign was removed that afternoon.
The SHARE volunteers fixing up some ruts.
This guy Fritz was here for only 10 days and on a ride. He stopped to help… no hesitation. No English either! Just knew what we were doing and jumped on in. Right on Fritz!
Some random shots of local heroes… Jim, Mark, and Keith from SHARE. SS Kym. Crew on the ridge. And Mark (of Hoss fame)… from SHARE today though.
